From highly paid office boy Ministers son to prime office lot in San Fran.

Come the UMNO G.A, expect more money to be splashed out from pockets to pockets while the warlords eye for top posts within the party.
So how la bro?

This country has smart, capable people. Good enough to give the powers that be a run for their money. I say we need something drastic - A shock treatment to shake up the status quo. A 3rd force - "Young Malaysian Professionals Party". Of Multi racial, patriotic, professional, thinking, grass-root, clean, unified, baggage-less individuals to contest in each and every parliamentary seat in the country. People who can think and act for the Nation rather than outsourcing the thinking part to external conmen. One that can present an alternative blueprint to nation building, economically and socially.

Let the buck stop here. Enough. No more hoping for the current elites to change from within. We all know that wont happen. No confidence in the opposition either.

We are on the verge of imploding if something is not done. If some people would like to brainstorm the idea I have presented above, I will be more than happy to actively take part and I am sure many of the DN readers will be keen to play their part too.
Ridzzynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-194647368902980524.post-60321010230552880562013-09-27T05:14:32.955-07:002013-09-27T05:14:32.955-07:00Salam Tuan KijangMas,

In fact, prior to my mall stopover, I was treated to a lavish lunch by some high-riding GLC taikos who seemed more interested in the colour choice of their to-be-ordered RM400k replacement company luxury cars then in their job deliverables.

I had a cuppa tea at the mall's foodcourt, trying hard not to be ostentatious in such spartan surroundings. At the table on my left, a makcik was sharing two plates of simple nasi ayam with her three primary school grandchildren. When I asked, she said the children's parents had to work overtime to make ends meet. She herself had to leave her Kedah kampung to take care of her cucus. At the next table, I observed two Ah Sohs dressed in sales promoter attire, one in her 60s and the other not so old, eating a meal of rice and kangkung with some sambal they had packed from their homes. When I asked, the older Ah Soh said, "sikalang balang mahai maah. Gua belum habis bayar itu loan lumah sana itu Calas (Cheras I presume). Gaji gua blapa boss? Komisen saja maah. Kita olang miskin misti mau jaga itu blanja."

I shed a little tear as I left the place somewhat humbled ........ and angry. The grandiose transformation plan or agenda or whatever pushed by the government -- GTP, ETP, NKRA, AEIOU, et al -- and the billions upon billions spent have not trickled down to the masses. And this is KL I'm talking about. Imagine people in Lenggong or Selising or Bahau. They have derived nothing from all these grandiose programs implemented at great cost.

We cannot go forward as a nation if the gap between the have and have nots grow bigger by the day. Things must change. How? We all need to work it out. In the meantime, for those leading comfy lifestyles, pls be thankful for your rezeki. A lot more of our brothers and sisters are less fortunate. As a nation, we need to bridge this gap. Insya'Allah.KijangMashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02617194030300556118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-194647368902980524.post-40293524958059742592013-09-26T01:06:49.351-07:002013-09-26T01:06:49.351-07:00Yeah, right.
